I have taken both of the Nock Above archery classes they offer and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to try archery. I purchased my first bow here and use the shooting range weekly. Megan and Joe the owners, as well as their staff, are extremely knowledgable and only carry products they test and believe in. I have watched them take time with each customer to walk through products, compare, and give perspective.

For my first time ever shooting a bow and arrow, I had a blast! My arms were hurting and so were my shoulders at the end but it was well worth it. Shot for about an hour and an older gentleman helped us with technique and was extremely patient and kind. I will be back again! $12 for a rental of a bow, and $8 for use of the lane (all day use). $20 for a new hobby isn't too bad!

Love this place! My friends and family just started out with archery and these guys are super friendly. We haven't gotten any lessons or gone to their after store shooting activities because our work schedule is such a conflict, but I hear they're pretty great. They have a 20 and 30 yard range and it's cheap. I live out in Beaverton and prefer this place to archers afield!

The employees at this shop have been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There are no egos behind the counter, just passionate and patient archers. There are owshops closer to my home than Archery World, but I make the drive for the customer service.

My DH and I took a one hour private lesson with Kyle, the lesson took place after the store is closed. Keep in mind that we have no knowledge of archery. Kyle was extremely patient about showing us the proper etiquette, form, technique, and helped us find good bows to get us started (don't worry: there's no up sell for equipment at all).
They also have a range there: the lesson really helped with being more confident next time we go practice. As far as the range goes, they have a 20 yard area and 30 yard area. The shop selection seems to be good and the prices are comparable with the Internets.

Coming from a small town I was leery about walking on to new turf. I was glad I did the shop employees where very inviting and the shop was stocked well. They have a lot of events inside and out side weekly league shoots.
