Thanks to Pete at Award Flight Assist I managed to use my points and only spend $370 for 2 people to get from Nairobi back to Australia- in peak season. He knew which flight paths to take. which airlines to use and which FF points to redeem. Instructions were clear and service was prompt.

The service was really great except for one problematic hiccup - the email domain that I was contacted from has a misconfiguration and results in their emails going to my spam folder (as flagged by Google), which meant I hadn't seen their initial report and wasn't able to book in time while the seats were still available. Fortunately, Bronywn was pro-active enough to text me and re-do the report when she realised I hadn't been getting the emails. I do appreciate that pro-active follow-up but would recommend to have the IT system reviewed by a specialised to resolve the spam issue (I suspect it's a misconfigured SPF record). Thanks Bronwyn for a great job despite the communication challenges.

With Qatar pulling Business class seats to Europe, I found it very hard to find suitable flights. Peter gave me many options (including flights available only through married segments) The hard part was finding a Qantas Customer Rep willing to search for the flights.
